Driver’s Helper
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Driver’s Helper for a company based in Pelham, AL. In this role, you will be helping to load and unload windows and doors for delivery to job sites.

Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm (38hrs a week)

Driver’s Helper- Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in loading and unloading windows, doors, and supplies from delivery vehicles.

Ensure products are handled safely to prevent damage.

Help navigate routes and provide directions to the driver as needed.

Deliver products to customers and obtain signatures for proof of delivery.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and customers.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Driver’s Helper- Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs).
• Previous experience in delivery, warehousing, or construction preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Clean MVR
• Background and drug screening required

Work Environment:

• Frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• May work in multi-temperature environments (warehouse, truck, job sites).

Full-time: Temporary to Hire
