IDR is seeking a Bookkeeper to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Montgomery, Alabama. This role offers the chance to support a high-volume, fast-paced personal injury law firm in maintaining accurate financial records and managing daily bookkeeping functions. Position Overview for the Bookkeeper :

  • Work directly with firm leadership in a busy law firm environment.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks Online.
  • Manage accounts payable, expense tracking, and trust/IOLTA accounts.
  • Support month-end closing, financial reporting, and overall financial operations.
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all financial documentation and processes.

Requirements for the Bookkeeper :

  • QuickBooks Online experience is REQUIRED.
  • At least 1+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Experience working in a law firm or professional office environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel, word processing, and accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and maintain confidentiality.
