Job Title: Budget Analyst

Location : Huntsville, AL (On-site)

Duties:

Provides budget and financial oversight to both the Division Manager and Program Managers. Works closely with Contracts, Accounting and Finance, and within the Program Control (PC) team to achieve company goals.

• Coordinates accurate planning, forecasting and analysis of the Division's performance and ensures controls and execution of programs support the company.
• Monitors and controls programs using Costpoint and Excel.
• Oversees awarded contracts, budget development, and analysis for the Division.
• Maintains a system of business management controls to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and financial goals and interface with internal and external customer on programmatic and business-related activities providing suggestions and solutions.
• Develops timely, accurate and executable financial forecasts across multiple programs
• Engages in cost/pricing strategy for both ROMs and formal proposals
• Investigates and resolves issues related to contract funding, invoicing, time charging, and overall financial management of programs.
• Interfaces with government customers, team members, and others to identify and execute program requirements.
• Executes plans, goals, and objectives for implementation and program administration

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant work experience
• Technical financial/program control expertise
• Budget software proficiency
• Soft skills for communication and problem-solving

Desired Qualifications

• Masters's degree with 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Google Docs, AICIS, GFEBS, LMP, ATAAPS, ACTS, and other Army budget/financial tools.
• Analyze funding requirements
• Prepare cost estimates
• Track obligations
• Manage unliquidated obligations (ULOs)
• Brief senior leadership on financial status

Security Clearance: Secret clearance is required
