What We’re Looking For:
- Current, active Alabama Special Education Teaching certification (required for interview consideration)
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs for students with a range of disabilities
- Strong classroom management and communication skills

- Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, administrators, families)
- Flexible mindset and dedication to fostering student growth
- Openness to travel for the duration of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction in compliance with student IEPs
- Create a supportive, accessible classroom environment
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with families and support staff to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
- Utilize adaptive technology and resources where appropriate
- Attend professional development and stay current on special education best practices
