Immediate, direct hire opening for a CAD Drafter with a manufacturer in Geneva, AL. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a key role in creating detailed technical drawings for various projects.
Pay will start at $17.00 per hour but can go up based on your prior experience and offers a full benefits package! New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD to produce accurate detailed drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret sketches, concepts, and specifications.
- Prepare drawings for industrial projects.
- Assist in the development of construction plans and documentation.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and project requirements.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from team members.
Skills:
- Must have a related degree/certification or at least 2+ years of experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Ability to create detailed technical drawings for architectural or engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of drafting techniques and principles.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work
