Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited college or university
- Valid Professional Educator Certification
- Preferred: ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure
- Proficiency in laws and regulations related to children with disabilities and education programs
- Strong knowledge of pediatric and adolescent (cognitive and physical) development
- Familiarity with diagnostic and assessment tools for disabilities
- Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language services to students
- Interpret and implement relevant regulations, policies, and laws
- Compile and analyze data for student evaluation and program planning
- Collaborate effectively with faculty, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
