Located in Auburn, AL Salary: $18 - $23 Position Summary Express Employment is seeking a skilled Mold Maintenance Technician to support high-volume plastic injection molding operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing injection molds to ensure consistent production quality, efficiency, and uptime. $18 - $23 per hour Full -time, full benefits! 8 hours shifts Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds according to specifications
- Diagnose and repair mold issues including wear, flashing, leaks, and cooling problems
- Polish, grind, and fit mold components as needed
- Work closely with production and process technicians to resolve tooling-related issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of mold repairs and maintenance activities
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
- Assist with mold changeovers and startup support as needed
- 2+ years of mold maintenance experience in a plastic injection molding environment (preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
