A day in the life.
As our Senior Operations Specialist on the McGriff Specialty Team, you’ll provide guidance to teammates across the retail insurance organization, and to 3rd party vendors, to support firm growth and success. You’ll manage projects geared toward meeting operational goals, adding efficiency, and driving excellence in client service and agency operations. In this role, you will also support the implementation and transition of key back-end insurance processes from onshore Account Managers to offshore teams. These processes include, but are not limited to, Loss Runs, Loss Summaries, Policy Checking, Endorsements, and other core account servicing activities. You will help ensure these processes are transitioned thoughtfully and executed by offshore teams with a high degree of accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
You will serve as a subject matter expert for assigned workflows, providing day-to-day support and guidance to offshore teams, answering questions, assist in identifying training needs, and helping develop or refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation. This role will also partner closely with onshore Account Managers to understand their needs (discovery), respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, and support implementation efforts that enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
A key part of this position is continuously evaluating workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, efficiency, and quality enhancement across both onshore and offshore operations.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
College Degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
P&C Insurance License
Business insurance experience
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency and professionalism in all matters while prioritizing responsibilities and proactively accomplishing goals
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
Ability to work without direct supervision
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
Knowledge of insurance specific systems and applications

The applicable base salary range for this role is $74,600 to $139,100.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
