What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a highly regulated aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations, remaining prepared to help address unauthorized access, unusual activity, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support entry and exit control processes for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Support incident reporting, shift activity logs, and post orders while maintaining professional presence and readiness to help with security-related concerns across varying environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security experience.
• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
