About the Job

Reporting to the Site Leader, this position will have direct responsibility for the manufacturing operations, including key performance metrics for the Equipment/Utility Operation within the Bay Minette, Alabama site. The successful candidate will be expected to fully utilize their exceptional leadership and collaborative skills to deliver high levels of performance and employee engagement. The tools of Lean Six Sigma will be critical to successfully driving continuous improvement of quality, service, and efficiency throughout the operation. This position provides an opportunity to collaborate with many partners in production, quality, materials, engineering, and customer service to ensure that current and new products remain relevant and innovative within the market served.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.

3-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience

Strong leadership experience managing people, processes, and performance.

Exceptional experience in Lean Six Sigma concepts required with a demonstrated ability to implement the concepts.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency.

Regulated industry experience preferred.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in using the personal computer, including Windows-based applications.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications.

Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar inventory control system a plus.

Physical/Mental Demands:

Ability to influence and persuade senior management level.

Solid commitment to customer or employee service.

Ability to manage time and prioritize work.

Communicates verbally over the phone and person with employees, corporate personnel and outside parties.

Communicates in writing with employees, corporate and outside parties.

Reads written information and requires the ability to understand conceptual material.

Uses hands to type on standard pc keyboard frequently.

Works in normally stressful environment with significant pressure.

Must be alert, able to concentrate and able to use good judgment and analytical skills.

Significant time spent sitting at a desk.

Must be able to move about facility to interact with employees.
