The Associate Agent role is designed to prepare motivated professionals for eventual agency ownership. You’ll work closely with the District office team, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship while building your own career in the insurance industry.

This is a hybrid role with negotiable office time. The office is located in Mobile.

Responsibilities

As an Associate Agent, you will:

• Develop insurance expertise across Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial product lines.

• Assist with client acquisition through networking, referrals, and community outreach.

• Provide exceptional customer service by answering policy questions and supporting claims.

• Collaborate with your mentor to learn office operations and agency management.

• Participate in University of Farmers® training programs and district development sessions.

• Build your sales pipeline while helping individuals and businesses secure the right coverage.

Requirements

We’re seeking candidates who bring:

• A drive for success and entrepreneurial spirit.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alabama Property & Casualty and Life/Health insurance license (sponsorship provided).

• A background in sales, customer service, or business (preferred but not required).

• High integrity, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn from experienced leaders.
