Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent for Multifamily Construction will oversee and coordinate multifamily construction projects across various locations. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is performed according to specifications and schedules.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project alignment and resolve any concerns.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports to track project performance.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with building codes and regulations.
- Foster a positive working environment and provide leadership to the construction team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in multifamily construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and interact with clients.
- Ability to travel frequently to different project sites as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Benefits
- $120,000 - $150,000 base salary (DOE)
- End of year discretionary bonus
- 1 company-paid trip home per month
- Travel relocation provided for out of state projects (~ $2,500-$3,500/month)
- Any additional travel needed on project site will be covered by company
