Job Description
This role focuses on performing flightline maintenance on a variety of aircraft, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, rigging, and replacing aircraft structures and components. You will work on critical systems such as landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and ventilation/heating and air systems in a fast-paced flight line environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform flightline and line maintenance on aircraft in accordance with applicable procedures and standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and environmental systems such as ventilation, heating, and air conditioning.
- Inspect, repair, and replace aircraft structures and components as needed to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Rig aircraft systems and components, including flight controls and other mechanical linkages, to ensure proper operation and alignment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on landing gear systems, including inspection, adjustment, and component replacement.
- Work on flight surfaces and flight control systems, ensuring they function correctly and meet operational requirements.
- Use technical documentation, maintenance manuals, and schematics to diagnose issues and perform repairs accurately.
- Support both rotary and fixed wing aircraft maintenance activities as assigned.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel on the flight line to coordinate work and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Document all maintenance actions accurately and completely in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Operate ground support equipment as required to support maintenance tasks, when qualified to do so.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area on the flight line.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of aircraft experience in an MRO, aircraft manufacturing, or flightline maintenance environment (MRO or flightline strongly preferred).
- Valid A&P License (Airframe and Powerplant); an Airframe-only license may be considered with relevant flightline or line maintenance experience, including military experience.
- Hands-on experience performing flightline or line maintenance on aircraft.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems on aircraft.
- Rigging experience on aircraft systems and components.
- Landing gear maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working with flight controls and related systems.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a flight line environment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to maintenance procedures and documentation requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with both rotary and fixed wing aircraft.
- GTE (Ground Test Equipment) experience.
- Tug driving experience on the flight line.
- Experience using air conditioning (A/C) carts.
- Marshalling experience for aircraft movement on the flight line.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance within MRO, manufacturing, or flightline operations.
- Comfort working rotating shifts, including occasional second shift assignments.

Work Environment
This position is based on an active flight line, working directly on aircraft in an operational environment. The role follows a first shift schedule of 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with a rotation to second shift (2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) for one week every three weeks. You will work around ground support equipment and aircraft systems, performing maintenance in varying weather and operational conditions typical of flight line operations. The environment is hands-on, fast-paced, and safety-focused, requiring adherence to all flight line procedures and guidelines.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
