Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support at a middle school in Harvest, AL. This leave position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a school environment, working closely with students to develop effective communication skills and support their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
• Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans to address articulatory, language, and fluency disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to implement strategies promoting communication growth.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with school-age children, preferably in a middle school setting.
• Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders and interventions.
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
