Job Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and nurturing Lead Teacher Toddlers to guide a classroom of young learners in our early childhood program. This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports toddlers growth across all areas. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education , confident in classroom leadership , and skilled in building strong relationships with children, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities for toddlers.
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment .
- Support childrens social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development .
- Manage daily routines , including meals, diapering, and nap schedules.
- Observe and document developmental milestones and progress .
- Communicate regularly with families regarding childrens development and classroom updates .
- Supervise and guide assistant teachers or support staff .
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health, and safety standards .
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (ECE coursework or degree preferred).
- Experience working with toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting required .
- Previous experience in a lead teacher or classroom leadership role preferred .
- Strong knowledge of child development and play-based learning .
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills .
- Experience developing and implementing toddler curriculum .
- Strong classroom management and team leadership abilities .
- Ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment .
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
