Title: Medical Assistant

Overview:

We are seeking a medical assistant to join our team at our internal medicine clinic. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to our healthcare professionals and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Take vital signs, including blood pressure, and perform routine medical tests, including EKGs and spirometry
• Reconcile medications and ensure that patients are taking their prescribed medications as directed
• Assist with patient exams and procedures as needed
• Provide support to healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
• Maintain a compassionate and caring demeanor

Qualifications:

• Experience as a medical assistant
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications, including electronic medical records systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a medical clinic or hospital setting
• Medical assistant certification from an accredited program
