JOB SUMMARY:
- Assumes responsibility for:
- Alphabetize paperwork
- Filing
- File non-current documents into reduced files
- Maintain discharge records
- Request charts from storage
- Scanning documents
- Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Typing skills
- Attends workshops and in-service training
- On the job training
- Ability to speak, read, and write functional English
- Prefer HIT and ICD-10 coding experience
- Require experience with medical records filing and storage
