US Corrections is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates that may have an interest in working as a prisoner transportation officer from our Nashville, TN office. These officers will be responsible for fugitive extradition operations on behalf of law enforcement agencies nationwide. We have immediate opportunities. We travel nationwide transporting fugitives of all classification levels .
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
US Corrections is based in Nashville, TN, with regional offices in Taylor, Texas and Melbourne, Florida. We are one of the largest providers of prisoner transportation and extradition services in the country and employ more than 150 personnel, including specially trained extradition officers, logistics professionals, mechanics, training staff and trip planners. We operate a fleet of specially modified vehicles and utilize a nationwide ground and air network to move prisoners from coast to coast, Alaska, Hawaii, and all U.S. territories.
COMPENSATION
Compensation depends on you. Agents can make $40,000 - $50,000 a year plus depending upon the amount of work you want to complete. Travel is required. If you are a person who enjoys travel and visiting the country this job is for you.
RETENTION BONUS:
All new employees receive a $500.00 bonus upon their 6 month anniversary and a $500.00 bonus at 9 months of continuous employment.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate valid for at least 1 year.
- Must have a clean driving record. (Last 5 years)
- Must have minimum 4 years licensed driving experience, No excessive speeding or at fault accidents, (will need to provide copies of your speeding tickets and/or accident reports that pull up on motor vehicle report).
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Must successfully pass a preemployment drug screen.
- Must have or are able to obtain a REAL ID to fly domestically per TSA before before the academy.
- Must be able to complete the Basic Officer Training course and be reasonably physically fit.
- Must be willing to obtain certifications in chemical agents (OC Spray), shotgun and electronic control devices (Taser).
- All TENNESSE residents must have a TN driver's license with a F endorsement prior to attending the academy . All other individuals that do not live in KY but live within 4 hours of the office, will just need a TSA REAL ID logo on their state driver's license.
- MUST LIVE WITHIN 4 HOURS OF WHITES CREEK, TN (Must have a full-time residence w/in the time frame & have a DL matching current residence).
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. without difficulty.
- Must be able to bend, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
- HAVE NO MEDICAL CONDITIONS THAT RESTRICT YOU FROM PERFORMING THIS POSITION OR OBTAINING THE DOT MEDICAL CERTIFICATE w/ 1-year minimum.
Phone interviews will be conducted to obtain this position as well. There will be documents sent via email and need timely return to obtain potential employment.
Our next training academy will be April 7, 2026 in Whites Creek, TN . We are accepting applications and will notify applicants when the exact date is set. This will be a 2 week classroom training. The training academy portion pays $10.25 per hour while in the classroom. There is NO per diem paid during the training classroom portion.
Next Training Academy tentatively starts the second week of May.
You may be placed in a company provided hotel if you live 1.5 hours or more away from training location during the classroom portion of training only.
