Brokerage Account Manager

Job Description

At TA Services , we’re growing fast and looking for driven freight brokers who are hungry to build their own book of business. We’ll give you leads, tools, and support to get started, and the runway to grow into running your own team.
Schedule: Full-time | Standard business hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm) with flexibility during peak times.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage your own book of business — cradle to grave.
- Prospect and close new accounts while growing existing customers.
- Negotiate rates, secure carriers, and keep freight moving.
- Own your results — and your rewards.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (we value skills and performance over formal education).
Experience:
- Experience in freight brokerage (cradle to grave a must).
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and grow a book.
- Negotiation and relationship-building with both customers and carriers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with TMS platforms a plus.

Additional Information
Pay/Benefits/Perks
- Base salary ($55,000–$65,000) + up to 30% of your book
- Unlimited earning potential with clear incentives tied to performance

- PTO that grows with tenure: accrue up to 5 days in the first year; 2 weeks’ vacation + 1 week PTO at your first anniversary
