Overview
Genesis seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL Driver with HAZMAT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to tractor-trailer, flatbed, and refrigerated trailer operations. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of freight during transit.

Duties:

• Operate and drive commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.
• Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours of service and vehicle inspections.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
• Utilize forklifts or other equipment as necessary for loading/unloading tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.
• Must have DOT and HAZMAT endorsement
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with occasionally 100 Pounds

Experience

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement .
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized trucking equipment is a plus.
• Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures and route driving best practices.
• Ability to operate various types of trucks including flatbed.
• Manual experience is a plus
