Join the Alabama Autism Assistance Program as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with autism. We are seeking passionate individuals to help implement individualized treatment plans and support our mission of fostering growth and development in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors during sessions.
- Assist clients with daily living skills and social interactions.
- Provide one-on-one support to children in various settings
- Communicate effectively with families and team members regarding client progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients at all times.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards in all interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; RBT certification preferred or in progress.
- Experience working with children with autism or related developmental disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Background check clearance required.
