The Golf Course Maintenance role is a year-round position responsible for preserving the quality and appearance of the golf course grounds. Reporting directly to the Golf Course Manager, this role works within a medium-sized team (6-15 members) to deliver meticulous turf care, landscape upkeep, and soil maintenance using a combination of manual and motorized equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform turf care to maintain healthy and playable grass surfaces
- Operate both manual and motorized equipment safely and efficiently
- Implement landscaping and soil maintenance tasks to support course aesthetics
- Maintain equipment to ensure operational reliability
- Support facility upkeep to meet quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in grounds maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of turf management and irrigation systems
- Familiarity with equipment operation and soil analysis
- Understanding of herbicide and pesticide application
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail
