About the Role:
Join Tennessee Valley Land and Environment as a Local Dump Truck Driver and be a vital part of our team in Hartselle, AL! This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to various projects while ensuring timely and safe transportation of materials.
Responsibilities:
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials to and from job sites safely.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the truck.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors for efficient load deliveries.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Load and unload materials as per project requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Assist in other duties as required to support project completion.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Night shift position temporary to permanent potential
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving dump trucks or similar vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best driving practices.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
