As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading healthcare location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. You will respond promptly to calls for assistance and support the overall wellbeing of the people on site. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to site requirements and Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders as needed during incidents and emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
