Calibration & Repair Technician

A permanent opportunity is available with a respected local company for an experienced Calibration & Repair Technician. Our client’s service center is built on years of proven quality and fast turnaround. Position Overview:
The Calibration & Repair Technician will support and perform daily operations within the calibration and service departments. This includes detailed testing, troubleshooting, repair work, and accurate recording of all measurements and service details in clear, concise logs.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in calibration, repair, or a closely related field
• Proficiency with calipers, OD micrometers, height gauges, and related measuring tools
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Solid computer skills
• Military experience a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-house troubleshooting and repairs
• Conduct in-house calibration and functional testing
• Accurately record measurements, testing results, troubleshooting, repairs, and time spent
• Ensure all work meets approved calibration standards

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

• Ability to stand and stoop for extended periods
• Manual dexterity and mobility required
• Must be able to read gauges and measurements with accuracy

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (with overtime as needed)
• Location: Baldwin County
• Pay: $16–$20 per hour (based on experience)
