As a **Security Officer** in **Huntsville, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide a visible presence throughout the facility. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related concerns on the premises.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with duties adapted to the needs of an aerospace and defense location.
+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
+ Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents as required.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
