We are looking for qualified Registered Nurse (RN) candidates to staff PRN at a variety of Wound Care clients. 1-2 years of recent/related experience is required. PRN shifts in LTC are available on Day and Night shifts. We hire only the very best! RN-- The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Job Responsibilities

• Must be able to work effectively independently, yet work together as part of a team
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure
• Assessing and monitoring wounds.
• Cleaning and bandaging wounds.
• Collaborating with other members of the patient care team to determine additional treatments or changes in care.
• Educating patients and caretakers on wound care, infection prevention, and pressure ulcer care.
• Writing orders to expedite wound healing and avoid skin breakdown
• Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly

Job Requirements

• Valid/Active RN License
• 1 year of recent/related experience

• Active BLS
• Must be a team player and committed to working the shifts that you have accepted.
