Job Overview:

GaN is seeking a System Engineer SMEto join our team in Huntsville, Alabama within Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Technology Development Directorate (TDD). This position is contingent on award of contract.

Required:

• Serve as senior systems engineer providing technical support to TDD and multiple Aviation Platform offices.

• Provide overall leadership, guidance, and quality of technical work for Mission Systems Architecture
• The ability to lead a diverse team

• Responsible for establishing standards, policy, processes for all Systems Engineering activities to include risk, configuration management, requirements management, traceability, design reviews, etc.
• Supports development of and review of Systems Engineering and program milestone documentation
• Supports major design reviews.

• 10 + years of related systems engineering experience
• Bachelors degree in engineering, science, or mathematics

Special Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
• Must have a Secret clearance or be capable of obtaining an interim Secret clearance
