Job Summary

If you're interested in the Entry Level Seed Technician job , then this is the best role for you ! Seed Technicians are involved in all facets of seed production within a location. This includes both indoor processing and outdoor field activities. They support seed processing, packaging, planting, pollinating, data collection, equipment maintenance, and inventory management, depending on the specific role (R&D or Manufacturing).

Job Description

• Indoor Activities: Receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting , labeling, or warehousing seed
• Outdoor Activities : Planting, pollinating, note taking, data entry, hand harvest
• Electronic data collection in field and laboratory settings using PCs and handheld devices
• Organizing, moving, and placing seed into storage
• Maintaining inventory accuracy using electronic systems

Preventive maintenance of equipment in assigned areas

• Physical tasks may include bending, lifting, and extended periods of sitting or standing
• Extended hours may be required during peak seasons

Skills Required

• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written task and safety instructions in English
• Adherence to all client SOPs and site safety requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and standard software systems (may be required)
• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting

Education/Training/Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and / or related experience may be required

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening
• Shift: 06 :00 AM
• Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary : $16.00 to $24.00 per hour based on qualifications.
