Snelling is searching for a Certified Welder for a well-established company in the Helena, AL area. The pay rate for this position is $20.00-24.00/hr, and it is a 1st shift position, Monday-Thursday-10/hr days.

Certified Welder Job Duties:

· Work with an amazing team in a fast paced and fun atmosphere

· Be able to gain overtime hours rather quickly

· Be a part of a stable company who is looking for people to grow and excel with them

· Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project

· Sourcing the materials to be used in the project

· Measuring and cutting materials to specifications

· Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together

· Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints

· Accurately measure within specified tolerance.

· Read and interpret engineered blueprint.

· Will set up and change settings as needed

· Follow rules and practices of safety.

· Maintain and complete all required records and production documentation.

· Operate overhead crane as needed

Certified Welder Requirements:

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Welding ( MIG, TIG, stick)

· Need to be able to read and understand blueprints/drawings – will be tested in interview

· Must have reliable transportation- Attendance is key to this company

· Must be able to pass a simple weld test
