About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Math Teacher to provide engaging mathematics instruction while supporting students’ academic development, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in mathematics.

Job Duties

• Develop and deliver standards-aligned mathematics instruction
• Differentiate lessons based on student ability and learning needs
• Create assessments and evaluate student performance
• Analyze data to identify areas for intervention
• Provide individualized academic support
• Maintain accurate grades and instructional documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Participate in professional development and school activities
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
• Integrate technology and instructional resources into lessons

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Valid Alabama teaching certificate with the appropriate Mathematics certification/endorsement
• Completion of an approved educator preparation program or applicable alternative certification pathway
• Completion of applicable Alabama certification assessments
• Knowledge of Alabama academic standards
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
