About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Degreed Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. You will play a key role in financial reporting, tax preparation, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations in a fast paced work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts and journal entries
• Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state regulations
• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and cost-control measures
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial data and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA license (active or in progress strongly preferred)
• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting, personal and business tax preparation experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and UltraTax
• Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
