Project Manager Civil (Mobile)

A growing multidisciplinary civil engineering firm is seeking a Project Manager to support its civil engineering team in Mobile, Alabama . This hire is driven by continued growth and increasing project demand, with a need for a mid-level engineer who can contribute to project delivery while continuing to develop into a senior leadership role.

The Project Manager will support the delivery of municipal and civil infrastructure projects , working closely with senior leadership while gaining increased responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the management and execution of civil and municipal infrastructure projects
• Assist in project coordination from planning and design through construction
• Contribute to design efforts including drainage, utilities, and civil site elements
• Coordinate with internal teams, municipalities, and external stakeholders
• Assist with permitting and regulatory processes
• Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Review plans and technical documents for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with senior engineers and contribute to team success

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 5–10 years of civil engineering experience
• Experience with municipal or civil infrastructure projects preferred
• Progression toward project management responsibilities
• EIT required; PE preferred or in progress
• Strong technical foundation in drainage, utilities, or site design
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with municipalities or public-sector clients
• Exposure to project management or client interaction
• Desire to grow into a senior leadership role
