Join the welcoming team at West Beach Coffee House as a Barista, where you will play a key role in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. Working in a small team environment, you will prepare drinks, manage inventory, and maintain cleanliness while receiving comprehensive on-the-job and formal training. This position offers morning shifts with weekend availability and opportunities for advancement to senior barista or supervisor roles.
Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly and efficient customer service
- Prepare high-quality coffee and specialty drinks
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Manage inventory and replenish stock as needed
- Clean and maintain coffee equipment and workspace
- Take customer orders promptly and accurately
- Collaborate effectively with team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in food service
- Knowledge of espresso machine operation
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong cash handling skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Teamwork and time management skills
