Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring a **Senior** **(Level 5)** **Structural Analysis Engineer** in **Huntsville, Alabama.**
**Position Responsibilities**
+ Develops, integrates and documents structural requirements to establish the system design.
+ Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
+ Leads and guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
+ Develops test plans and configurations, leads and supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
+ Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
+ Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
+ Works under minimal direction and oversight
**This position is expected to be 100% onsite.** The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
**This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship** . An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
+ Senior, Level 5: Typically, 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
+ Experience with Engineering classification such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or Structural Engineering.
+ Experience with Fatigue or Durability Analysis.
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Aeronautical)
+ Experience in aerospace stress analysis.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Senior, Level 5 Summary pay range: $149,600 - $202,400
