Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in an engaging school environment. This contract position spans the full school year and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs.
- Deliver specialized instruction in alignment with state and federal special education guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress.
- Monitor and assess student performance, adjusting strategies to maximize growth and achievement.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and munication.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in special education.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a special education setting.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and instructional strategies.
- Effective munication and team collaboration skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students overe challenges.
