Schedule: 3x12, Nights (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends

Our Acute Care Unit is a 31‑bed inpatient unit specializing in adult acute care & oncology overflow. Nurses on this unit typically manage a 1:6 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. This dynamic environment is a great place to start for RN's looking to develop critical care skills and offers nurses the opportunity to strengthen their clinical expertise while delivering compassionate, high‑quality care.
How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current Alabama or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Basic Life Support required
- ACLS, required within 6 months of hire
- Experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.
