Plant Power & Control Systems is a trusted provider of high-quality electrical control systems serving industrial and commercial clients. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coat Painter to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our fabricated products meet the highest quality standards with a durable, professional finish.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and clean metal surfaces for coating, including sanding, masking, and applying pre-treatment.
Apply powder coating materials to a variety of fabricated parts using spray equipment.
Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, ovens, and spray guns.
Ensure proper curing of coated parts by monitoring oven temperatures and bake times.
Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and adherence to company standards.
Touch up, rework, or recoat parts when necessary.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Assist with material handling, hanging, and packaging of finished products.
Collaborate with production team to meet daily schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in powder coating or industrial painting preferred.
Familiarity with spray equipment, curing ovens, and safety procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and production schedules.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Team player with good communication and organizational skills.
