This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to work onsite with elementary-aged learners. You'll provide essential speech and language services, fostering growth and confidence for approximately 50 students. The setting offers the chance to build strong relationships with educators, students, and families, ensuring every child receives personalized support.
What You'll Need:
- Current SLP state license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid Educator Certificate
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Excellent communication, recordkeeping, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with children and supporting academic success
Role Highlights:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a diverse elementary student caseload
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement targeted interventions
- Conduct assessments and evaluations, documenting progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to address students' unique needs
- Maintain accurate case files and participate in IEP meetings
- Advocate for students’ best interests within an inclusive and nurturing setting
