Construction Inspector

ASR is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector for an exciting opportunity to provide technical oversight and quality assurance for construction projects, ensuring compliance with federal standards and contributing to mission-critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily inspections and evaluations of construction activities
• Review contractor quality control procedures and construction submittals
• Identify project deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• Analyze Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs) and contractor claims
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications for compliance
• Assess completeness and accuracy of work performed
• Evaluate project plans for constructability and design issues
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) with technical recommendations
• Attend weekly project meetings and provide feedback on site conditions

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant experience as a construction inspector, field technician and/or construction management.
• BS in Construction Management or related degree or 10 years work experience as a Constructor Quality Control Manager or Construction Superintendent
• Woking knowledge of USACE standards and Federal construction regulations
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of software including Microsoft Office, among others.
• Physically able to perform site inspections (walking, climbing ladders, entering confined spaces, etc.).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Qualified applicants must be able to pass a background check.
