Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Location: Anchorage, AK (Territory: Girdwood to Peter's Creek; positions available on both north and south teams)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• On-call/Weekend Requirements: None
• Productivity: 27.5 points per 40 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,020 - $2,070 per week
• Start Date: August 11, 2025
• End Date: November 9, 2025

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Alaska
• Minimum 1 year of home health occupational therapy experience required
• Proficiency with OASIS documentation required
• Experience with HCHB EMR preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage a home health caseload
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Home Health Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to home health patients throughout Anchorage and surrounding areas
• Perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
• Accurately complete OASIS documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and daily living strategies
• Maintain productivity standards and manage scheduling efficiently
