Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Plant Operations Manager role based in Elkmont, AL. The Plant Operations Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure production schedules are met, and maintain high-quality standards while optimizing efficiency and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This position involves managing teams, coordinating with different departments, implementing workflow processes, and identifying opportunities for improvement in production and operational processes.

EFI Automotive – Electricfil Corporation in Elkmont, AL, is seeking a Plant Operations Manager with proven automotive manufacturing experience to lead and elevate our plant operations.

This role is for a driven, hands-on leader who thrives in a performance-based environment and is ready to take full ownership of operational and financial results.

Mandatory Requirements

• Significant automotive manufacturing experience (OEM or Tier 1 preferred)
• Experience leading plant-level operations
• Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility
• Track record of improving operational KPIs

You Will Be Responsible For

• Full P&L management and budget ownership
• Margin, scrap rate, on-time delivery, inventory DSO
• Fixed cost control and headcount optimization
• Leading Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance & HR
• Ensuring strict compliance in Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards
• Representing the plant with customers and group leadership

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years in automotive manufacturing
• 5+ years in senior plant leadership
• Strong ERP/MRP experience
• Comfortable in an international group structure
• French language skills are a plus
