As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Montgomery, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with strong communication and customer service while contributing to a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, observe activity at assigned areas, and communicate with property personnel, visitors, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters.
• Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, noting maintenance or property concerns, and following post orders and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
