Job Summary

The Team Leader is responsible for leading and directing associates in the laminating and assembly of composite products. This role may span multiple functions and shifts, with a strong focus on:

• Team building and accountability
• Skill development and technical training
• Quality, cost, and delivery performance
• Customer satisfaction

Job Responsibilities

🔹 Leadership & Coordination

• Lead activities for an assigned product line or department
• Represent the team in meetings with customers, vendors, and management
• Ensure adequate resources for quality and timely production

🔹 Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement plans that meet customer and business requirements
• Optimize use of available resources
• Collaborate with planning, QA, engineering, purchasing, and finance to set priorities

🔹 Performance & Development

• Define clear performance objectives for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and more
• Promote continuous improvement and technical skill development
• Encourage team flexibility, cross-training, and motivation

🔹 Process Improvement

• Drive manufacturing process enhancements with support from engineering, tooling, and materials
• Foster innovation and problem-solving within the team

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years in manufacturing, including 2+ years as a production supervisor
• Strong knowledge of shop floor practices, quality systems, and process engineering
• Experience in task planning and prioritization
• Proficiency in communication, analysis, computer literacy, and team leadership
• Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations
