• Employment Type: Full-Time | W2 | Long-Term Contract
• Location: Choctaw County, AL | Butler, Pennington, Needham, & Lisman
• Proximity: Located within ~60 minutes of at least one of the listed markets.
• Travel: Local within Assigned Market
• Personal Vehicle: Required | Mileage: Reimbursed
• Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour, depending on experience

Key Overview:

Broadstaff is seeking experienced OSP Field Inspectors to support active fiber construction projects throughout Choctaw County.

This boots-on-the-ground position serves as the eyes and ears of the OSP Construction team. You will inspect field activity, track contractor production, update redlines, document construction conditions, and communicate timely field updates to internal project teams.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in OSP telecom, fiber deployment, or utility construction
• Knowledge of aerial and underground construction practices
• Ability to read construction drawings, maps, route plans, and redlines
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, cameras, and basic computer software
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect active aerial and underground fiber construction
• Monitor daily production and provide accurate progress reports
• Update redlines based on actual field conditions
• Capture photos, measurements, quantities, and field observations
• Document placement changes, rock adders, bore requirements, and plow-to-bore conversions
• Identify and escalate construction issues
• Communicate with field crews and internal OSP stakeholders
