Schedule/Hours:

• Shift: 5x8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• Every other weekend required
• Must be available for holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate within a high-acuity CVOR environment, delivering patient-centered, compassionate care
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed, adapting to new settings and challenges
• Lead by example: articulate expectations, delegate tasks effectively, and support team members
• Supervise and guide LPNs, PCAs, Ortho Techs, US, and other non-licensed staff
• Foster therapeutic relationships with patients and families, upholding high standards of nursing practice

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing required
• Active RN license in Alabama or Compact state (no temporary licenses)
• BLS & ACLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
• Minimum of 18 months total RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent CVOR specialty experience
• Confident floating to various units and adapting leadership style as needed
