Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, and control authorized access to the location in support of site access requirements.
• Screen visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, maintain accurate activity logs, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and established communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
