As a Security Officer Entry Gate Specialist in Brookwood, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to site needs, and provide strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor gates, doors, badge readers, and/or vehicle access points to help support authorized access and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or unauthorized entry attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues.
• Assist with screening visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors, maintain required logs and reports, and follow post orders related to restricted areas, key control, and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
