Job Summary

The role supports the evaluation of NA and Global Development studies for new and re-registration of products.

Job Description

• Process sample orders via Sample Logistics Applications.
• Prepare sample orders for shipping and attach appropriate SDS(s).
• Scan each sample order and its samples for packaging into shipping containers; complete shipping according to IATA and/or DOT regulations; file shipping documents.
• Assist in completing international shipments and communicate shipping details.
• Conduct and reconcile sample inventories (current, bulk, and GLP) in Sample Logistics Applications; create Excel inventory reports.
• Receive packages for the Sample Logistics team and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain the Certificate of Analysis archive for GLP samples.
• Assist in overseeing the restricted GLP cage area, ensuring compliance with GLP regulations.
• Sub-fill sample containers adhering to HSE, SDS, and site safety policies; apply FIFRA research sample labels and stickers; scan samples into inventory and complete process orders.
• Identify questionable test substances based on appearance and consult with the Sample Logistics manager.
• Maintain SDS filing for the Sample Logistics inventory; retrieve SDS from Global QHSE and supplier databases.
• Maintain bulk inventory with appropriate labels; scan to physical location; place containers on appropriate shelves.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies for the Sample Logistics team.
• Assist the Sample Logistics team with other duties as requested.
• Comply with all IATA and DOT trainings.
• Report and notify the designated Sample Logistics representative of any discrepancies with orders, computer/application problems, or other issues in the sample process.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Associate degree or equivalent, and 0–3 years of related experience
• Preferred: Degree in a Science field
• Compliance with IATA and DOT training requirements

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
• Shift: 8:00 AM

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary : $17.50 to $25.68 per hour based on qualifications.
