Innovation At Work, Inc. is seeking Temporary Supply Technicians to support the Logistics Service Department at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. This position supports patient care operations by ensuring the timely distribution, stocking, and management of medical and facility supplies throughout the hospital and supported clinics.

Available Shifts

Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (5 positions)

Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (1 position)

Graveyard Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (1 position)

Schedules are generally Monday through Friday, with adjustments based on facility needs.

Requirements:

Supply Distribution

Deliver medical and facility supplies to hospital wards, clinics, and departments.

Maintain stock levels in primary and secondary inventory locations.

Prepare and restock specialty supply carts.

Interact with clinical staff to resolve supply issues.

Ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials.

Inventory Support

Receive and unpack shipments of supplies.

Store items properly according to inventory guidelines.

Maintain clean and organized supply storage areas.

Assist with periodic and full inventory counts.

Report supply shortages or issues to supervisors.

Facility Support

Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, bins, and shelving.

Follow aseptic procedures and safety protocols.

Comply with VA policies and Joint Commission standards.

Perform additional logistics duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Practical knowledge of inventory or supply management.

Experience in warehouse, logistics, hospital supply, or stockroom operations preferred.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and organization.

Valid driver’s license may be required for some assignments.

Ability to pass background screening required for federal facilities.

Physical Requirements

Standing and walking for extended periods.

Lifting and moving supplies up to 40 pounds.

Working in hospital supply areas and storage rooms.

Work Environment

This position is located within a federal medical facility supporting Veterans' healthcare services. Employees must adhere to all VA safety, security, and infection control policies.
